Texas Traffic Safety Education Curriculum & MaterialsQ1. Once I submit my order, how long will it take to receive it?
A. We allow one business day processing in addition to the time it takes UPS to pick up, transport and deliver your package. We strive to ship Monday/Wednesday/Friday each week. If there is a delay in this time period or we have a question about your order, we will contact you via the information you have provided us. Q2. I will be in the Huntsville area; can I just stop by and pick up my order?
A. Yes, we gladly welcome pick-up orders by appointment. Please call ahead to schedule a time and print an order form and have it filled out, and bring in either a Cashier’s Check, Money Order, exactly Cash, or Credit Card to pay for the materials. *NOTE - You will still be required to pay the handling fee. Q3. I am with a school district and am exempt from state sales tax, can I still order online?
A. Due to the format that the shopping cart is set up in, we cannot
accept tax-exempt orders online. Orders that are being made by a school district for the purpose of being used in their Driver Education programs need to contact Amy at 936-435-8343 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org for order submissions. Q1. What is the cost of a Parent Taught Packet?
A. The course is $73 subtotal + shipping/handling and taxes ($89.97 total)
Q2. What form of payment does ESC6 accept for Course 106?
A. Currently, we offer you the convenience of purchasing online through our shopping cart at https://safetystore.esc6.net you can purchase with a credit card. In the upper left hand portion of the screen, click on "Parent Taught Course 106", click "Add to Cart" and then proceed to your checkout. We also offer the mail in option (request Square Invoice, Cashier’s Check or Money Order -- NO PERSONAL CHECKS!)
Q3. How will I know if my order was submitted?
A. When you have successfully submitted an order, you will be taken to a "Checkout Success" page which provides you with shipping information and states that you will receive an email notification (with an invoice) confirming your order as well.
Q4. I keep getting to the last page of my checkout and the shopping cart keeps kicking me back to a previous step. Why?
A. When the shopping cart kicks you back to a previous step, this typically means that: 1) your billing information does not match the information on your credit card or 2) your payment is being "returned" (i.e. rejected) by the system or your credit card company. Please make sure all of your information is correct.
Q5. How long will it take to receive my order after I have ordered online?
A. From the (business) day that you submit your order, please 1 business day for in-house processing and packaging; then orders will be shipped via UPS ground service. Please keep in mind that "business days" Shipping days are Monday/Wednesday/Fridays of each week. If there is a delay in this time period or we have a question about your order, we will contact you via the information you have provided us.
Q6.How will I know my order has been shipped?
A. You will receive an email notification from UPS once your order has been shipped, which will include a tracking number for you to use. Please use this information to stay up-to-date on the status of your package!
Q7. I changed my mind and I don't want this course anymore. Can I get a refund?
A. Due to the nature of these materials, we are unable to issue refunds for orders that have been processed and shipped by ESC6. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Q8. Instead of ordering online, is there any way I can walk-in and pick a course up?
A. Yes, we now gladly welcome pick-up orders by appointment. Q9. If I have more than one teenager that needs a Parent Taught Driver Education Course 106, can they share one packet or do I have to purchase one for each child?
A. Each child must have their own individual set of materials to complete the course to remain in compliance with legislation/requirements by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Texas Department of Public Safety (Tx DPS). Each child will be required to present a DE-964E Certificate of Completion in order to obtain a Learner’s License as well as the Driver License. These will only be included in the purchase of an entire packet and cannot be duplicated.
In addition, the entire course has a Copyright and it is illegal to be reproduced for personal or commercial use.
